First hold steady at 74,000, then break upward to 76,000, and after that pull back to continue consolidating around 74,000—this definitely counts as holding steady. Otherwise, why would so much smart money have added positions at this level in the past couple of days betting on a breakout (long positions doubled in a single day)? But the problem is, just because it’s holding steady doesn’t mean it’ll definitely break out. Sometimes, it looks like the bottom support is pretty solid, but then another wave of decline hits. Just checked—smart money’s newly added long positions have shrunk by 80%.
