[Institution: Fed's Rate Cuts This Year Expected to Exceed Current Forecasts] Jin10 Data, March 19 – Roger Rüegg, Head of Multi-Asset Solutions at Swisscanto/ZKB, stated in a report that the Federal Reserve's rate cuts this year may exceed current expectations, primarily due to potential weakening in the labor market. The Fed maintained its policy rate unchanged as expected this week and projected one rate cut this year and another in 2027. 'Our outlook is slightly different; we anticipate rate cuts in September and December, mainly due to labor market weakness.' According to LSEG data, the money market currently expects less than one rate cut this year.
