The future of AIAgent will not just be about adding an automation shell to people, but will gradually evolve into a true system operation layer. Many of the seemingly important abilities today, such as skill, MCP, CLI, are essentially more like interface forms during the transition period.
Their existence is to enable the model to learn to call the external world first, but in the long run, these abilities will be absorbed into the internal like drivers in the operating system, becoming the agent's instinctive actions. At that time, people will no longer care about what protocol it is connected through, which command it calls, or how many intermediate layers it passes through. They will only care about whether the target is stably completed.
A truly mature agent should not expose tools as the primary interaction object. CLI is too expensive for humans, it is more suitable for machines than for the general public. The key to the future is not to teach people more commands, but to let agents understand, choose, arrange, and correct them on their own. Tools will become increasingly invisible, abilities will become more internalized, and interactions will become more result oriented.
So many people say that the GUI user interface is doomed, but I don't agree. This doesn't mean that the interface will disappear. On the contrary, the stronger the agent, the more it needs a high-density, low burden GUI panel to help humans/machines quickly understand the system status.
Even AI should not read all the functional descriptions before operating, but should first see the global status and system operation situation: which tasks are currently running, which resources are occupied, which goals have been completed, where there are risks, and why the system makes such decisions. The best agent experience in the future is not the command line style of control, nor the chat style of roaming, but a collaborative feeling that can be summarized, intervened, and trusted. Whoever can balance hidden complexity with a clear global perspective is closer to the next generation of agents.
