[U.S. Senate Once Again Rejects Resolution to Restrict Military Action Against Iran]
According to a report by Jinse Finance on March 19, citing CBS News, the U.S. Senate on Wednesday rejected a war powers resolution proposed by New Jersey Democratic Senator Cory Booker. In a 53-47 vote, this effort to limit Trump's military actions against Iran suffered its third setback. The Senate had previously rejected an Iran war powers resolution proposed by Virginia Democratic Senator Tim Kaine on March 4, marking the second attempt within less than a year to restrict Trump's military actions against Iran. The prior attempt occurred in June last year following U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. (Jin10)
