[Coinbase Survey: 74% of Institutions Expect Crypto Prices to Rise in the Next 12 Months]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, a recent survey conducted by Coinbase in collaboration with EY-Parthenon involving 351 institutional investors reveals that despite the crypto market experiencing a pullback since October last year, institutional confidence remains strong.
73% of respondents indicated plans to increase their digital asset allocations by 2026, while 74% expect crypto prices to rise in the next 12 months. In terms of investment methods, approximately two-thirds of institutions prefer gaining exposure through regulated tools such as exchange-traded products (ETPs), reflecting a growing reliance on compliant channels in the market.
At the same time, more than three-quarters of respondents believe that regulatory clarity on market structure is one of the most critical issues at present. Despite heightened market volatility, institutional strategies are becoming more cautious.
49% of respondents stated they are placing greater emphasis on risk management, liquidity, and position control rather than reducing overall exposure.
