Mintos Partners with Upvest to Launch Regulated Cryptocurrency ETP

Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on March 17, according to PRNewswire, European multi-asset investment platform Mintos announced its partnership with Upvest to officially launch regulated cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETP). The cryptocurrency ETPs introduced this time are issued by institutions such as BlackRock iShares and VanEck, tracking the underlying cryptocurrency prices and trading in a manner similar to ETFs. Upvest provides scalable API-driven investment infrastructure and core brokerage services for this product. The two parties had previously established a partnership in the ETF business. Mintos co-founder and CEO Martins Sulte stated that cryptocurrency ETPs aim to reduce the operational complexity and compliance barriers faced by investors in directly holding crypto assets.
