**[Dark Side of the Moon Kimi Valuation Rises to $18 Billion]**
Golden Finance reports that the valuation of Dark Side of the Moon Kimi has risen to $18 billion, quadrupling in just three months. A new $1 billion funding round is currently underway. In less than three months, Kimi has completed three rounds of financing, setting a record for the most consecutive rounds of funding for large-scale models in recent years in China. It has also become the fastest domestic decacorn company to surpass a $10 billion valuation.
Driven by the explosive popularity of the Kimi K2.5 model and Kimi Claw, Kimi's revenue in just 20 days since late January has exceeded its full-year revenue for 2025. Additionally, according to data from global payment giant Stripe, the number of payment orders from Kimi's individual subscription users grew by 8,280% month-on-month in January and increased by another 123.8% month-on-month in February, entering Stripe's global top ten rankings.
Kimi founder Yang Zhilin previously stated in a company-wide letter, "The financing amount exceeds that of most IPO fundraising and directed share issuances by listed companies. We believe we can raise even larger amounts of capital from the primary market."
