On Google Maps, it’s a straight-line distance of 1.4km, less than a 20-minute walk. It’s not just Binance and OKX. Actually, the One Central + DIFC + Emirates Towers area is one of the most densely packed crypto office zones in the world. Part of Bybit’s team, along with multiple VCs, market makers, and family offices, are all within a 10-minute walking radius. Even though I don’t think Iran is deliberately targeting crypto, DIFC is the financial hub of Dubai, so some missile harassment is kind of expected. But if there’s collateral damage, that’d be a huge loss. It’s the right move for teams to evacuate and stay safe.
