What’s the difference between U.S. stocks and crypto?
Here’s an example:
If you buy $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, $BNB, $OKB, and other once-popular altcoins, you can make money when they go up. But you have to sell at the right time. If you don’t sell and they crash, you’ll lose money big time. Altcoins can drop 90% and wreck you.
What about U.S. stocks?
If you buy Nvidia, Tesla, Micron, Meta, Google, Microsoft, etc., even if you haven’t sold yet, you’re still making money. Even when Microsoft pulls back, it’s only about 20%.
If you want to sell, you’ll have plenty of time to do so. You don’t need to test your selling skills. Even if you don’t sell and hold for five or ten years, there will be bear markets and big drops along the way, but in the long term—five or ten years later—they’ll definitely hit new highs.
And your crypto? After five or ten years, it’s either gone to zero or dropped 80%-90%, which isn’t much different from zero.
