According to SolanaFloor, the Solana governance proposal SIMD-0266 has been approved. This proposal, introduced by Anza last year, introduces a new p-tokens model to improve computational efficiency, theoretically boosting Solana's transaction efficiency by up to 19 times. The Solana Foundation's VP of Technology stated that this upgrade is expected to go live on the mainnet in April.
