PI is available for trading!

We’re thrilled to announce that PI is available for trading on Kraken! Funding and trading PI trading is live as of March 13, 2026. To add an asset to your Kraken account, navigate to Funding, select the asset you’re after, and hit ‘Deposit’. Make sure to deposit your tokens into networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made using other networks will be lost. Trade on Kraken Here’s some more information about this asset: Pi Network (PI) Pi Network (PI) is a social cryptocurrency, developer platform, and ecosystem designed forwidespread accessibility and real-world utility. Founded in 2019 by Stanford Ph.Ds Dr. NicolasKokkalis and Dr. Chengdiao Fan, Pi Network enables users to mine Pi cryptocurrency from theirmobile phones using an energy-light mining mechanism, without the need for expensivehardware or high energy consumption. The network operates its own Layer-1 blockchain using a consensus mechanism based on the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP), a Federated Byzantine Agreement system. Pi Network is designed to draw on the collective contributions of community members, such as their Security Circles or Pi Nodes, to grow and scale. PiNetwork’s ecosystem is accessible through the Pi Browser (an app on iOS and Android) andincludes developer tools such as Pi SDK and the Pi App Studio for the AI-assisted creation ofapplications deployed to millions of Pi users. The PI token is the native cryptocurrency of the PiNetwork ecosystem.
