The statement noted that based on the Commission's negative determination, the US Department of Commerce will not impose anti-dumping or countervailing duties on such Chinese imports. Previously, on February 11, the US Department of Commerce announced a final affirmative anti-dumping determination on active anode material imported from China, ruling that the dumping margin for Chinese producers/exporters applying for a separate rate was 93.50%, and the nationwide rate for China was 102.72%. At the same time, it issued a final affirmative countervailing determination, ruling that the subsidy rates for the Chinese products involved were between 66.82% and 66.86%.
