Speaking on OPM On Air, Minister Pearnel Charles Jr. said the Government has improved how disaster relief is delivered following lessons from Hurricane Beryl. Minister Charles Jr. explained that the Ministry has moved from paper forms to a digital system, which allows information to be collected and updated in real time and reduces errors. Minister also noted that the Government is moving away from printed checks to digital payments using QR codes, allowing beneficiaries to access support faster while improving transparency and accountability.(Andrew Holness)
