The report highlights that the open-source AI agent OpenClaw (formerly known as Clawdbot, Moltbot) can directly control computers based on natural language commands and is currently being rapidly deployed in areas such as industrial research and design, production and manufacturing, and operations management. The report analyzes three main risks: 1. Risks of unauthorized access to industrial hosts and loss of production control – OpenClaw's permission control mechanism has inherent flaws, which may lead to unauthorized operations, causing parameter disruptions, production line interruptions, and equipment damage. 2. Risks of industrial sensitive information leakage – Several functional plugins compatible with OpenClaw have been identified as malicious plugins, which attackers can exploit to steal core confidential information such as industrial blueprints and API keys. 3. Risks of attack surface expansion and amplification of attack effects – OpenClaw currently has over 80 security vulnerabilities.
