[USDC and Circle CCTP Now Live on Morph, Supporting Standardized Cross-Chain Dollar Settlement]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on March 12, USDC and Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) have officially launched on Morph. USDC, as the dollar-denominated settlement asset within the Morph network, is now issued by Circle's regulated affiliate on Morph. CCTP enables USDC to transfer cross-chain between Morph and other supported blockchains in a 1:1 manner, whereby it is burned on the source chain and natively minted on the target chain, ensuring supply integrity. Developers can choose between standard transfer and fast transfer modes based on security and timeliness requirements. Morph stated that USDC and CCTP will support dollar settlement needs in scenarios such as cross-border remittances, crypto payment cards, payment gateways, as well as DeFi and trading, further driving the development of on-chain payment infrastructure.
