Osmosis has released a new proposal to migrate to Cosmos Hub, and OSMO will be converted to ATOM within the specified window period Foresight News reported that Osmosis has submitted a major proposal to the Cosmos ecosystem to directly introduce Osmosis into the Cosmos Hub. If approved by the governance of two chains, Osmosis DEX will migrate natively to the Hub, thereby unifying liquidity, governance, and security on one chain. \Except for OSMOs that have not been deployed in the Osmosis community pool, all circulating OSMOs will be eligible for conversion to ATOM within the specified six-month window period. At present, this is approximately equivalent to 665.1 million OSMO. The conversion rate will be 0.0355 ATOM to 1.998 OSMO, based on a 30 day TWAP (public forum proposal time) of ATOM: OSMO price on March 11, 2026. \The Cosmos Hub community pool currently has approximately 10.11 million ATOMs. This means that approximately 85% of the required ATOM has already been funded. The remaining approximately 1.75 million atoms account for about 0.35% of the total atomic supply, equivalent to less than two weeks of pledged emissions. This plan will not introduce any sustained emissions or structural inflation changes. The conversion window will remain open for six months. At the end, unclaimed ATOMs will be returned to the Cosmos Hub community pool.
