OpenAI plans to integrate video generation into ChatGPT According to Golden Finance, OpenAI plans to integrate Sora AI video generation functionality into ChatGPT. OpenAI may hope to replicate the moment in March last year when Studio Ghibli style photos exploded across the internet and pushed computing power to its limits. ChatGPT has since become the primary AI image generation tool for both individual and corporate users, including furniture and fashion designers. Sora's independent app will continue to operate, but its long-term plan is still unclear. Google Gemini has provided video generation functionality through Veo AI. OpenAI has recently withdrawn its plan to directly embed shopping within ChatGPT. OpenAI expects inference costs to exceed $225 billion between now and 2030, and has reserved computing power for peak usage caused by viral features.
