[Israeli Foreign Minister Says No Pursuit of 'Endless War,' Will Consult with U.S. on Ending Actions Against Iran]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, Israeli Foreign Minister Saar stated on the 10th that Israel does not seek an 'endless war' with Iran and will coordinate with the United States at an appropriate time to decide when to end military actions against Iran. Saar made this statement during a joint press conference in Jerusalem with visiting German Foreign Minister Waddell.
Saar did not provide a specific timeline for the current military actions. He emphasized that Israel will continue its military operations until Israel and its partners deem it 'appropriate to stop.' Saar claimed that Israel's goal is to 'eliminate the existential threat posed by Iran to Israel in the long term,' but achieving this is difficult under the current Iranian regime. Israel believes that a regime change in Iran 'might occur after the end of military actions,' and the current military operations aim to create conditions for such a regime change.
On February 28, the United States and Israel launched large-scale military strikes against Iran, and Iran retaliated by targeting Israeli and U.S. military bases in the Middle East.
