I joined the EU Competitiveness “Friends” Group of like-minded European leaders today. We discussed energy prices and global market volatility. I stressed the need to accelerate Europe’s energy transition and build resilient energy networks. We also covered reducing market barriers, strengthening the Single Market, and channeling savings into investments. I highlighted regulatory simplification for SMEs and consumers, and the importance of timely agreement on the next MFF.(Gitanas Nausėda)
