[AI Startup AgentMail Completes $6 Million Seed Round Financing, Led by General Catalyst]
BlockBeats News, March 11, according to TechCrunch, AI-focused email service startup AgentMail announced the completion of a $6 million seed round financing, led by General Catalyst, with participation from Y Combinator, Phosphor Capital, angel investor Paul Graham, HubSpot CTO Dharmesh Shah, Supabase CEO Paul Copplestone, and Ramp CTO Karim Atiyeh.
Along with the funding announcement, AgentMail also introduced an automatic API integration. Developers can directly connect AI agents to this interface, enabling them to independently register and create email accounts. The platform also allows users to manually configure and manage mailboxes, permissions, allowlists, and API keys.
AgentMail co-founder and CEO Haakam Aujla stated that AgentMail was built from the ground up with the goal of providing AI agents with an email experience similar to what humans have in Gmail or Outlook—but without the elements of a human user interface (UI).
