Microsoft Launches New AI Software Suite for $99 Per Month

Microsoft (MSFT.O) is introducing a new office software package aimed at encouraging more users to utilize its AI tools in workplace scenarios. The E7 suite is priced at $99 per user per month, a 65% increase compared to the price of Microsoft's previous flagship suite. This package will include commonly used tools like Word and Excel, as well as the company's Copilot AI assistant and a feature that allows administrators to evaluate AI usage within their organizations. Microsoft announced in January this year that over 450 million enterprise users are paying for its office software, but only about 3% of them are also paying for Copilot.
