UK Reform Party leader Nigel Farage purchased 4.3 million shares of London listed Bitcoin company Stack BTC through his company Thorn In The Side Ltd for 5 pence per share, with a stake of 6.31% and a valuation of approximately £ 3.4 million. This round of £ 260000 financing also attracted the participation of cryptocurrency company Blockchain.com as a strategic investor. Stack BTC, chaired by former Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng, plans to establish a UK corporate investment portfolio and hold Bitcoin reserves. Blockchain.com has registered as an FCA cryptocurrency asset business and will collaborate with Stack BTC to develop a Bitcoin reserve strategy. Farage stated that he has long supported Bitcoin and believes that London should become the primary center for global cryptocurrency.
