According to *The Chosun Ilbo*, the Korea Consumer Agency's Consumer Dispute Mediation Committee announced on the 6th that it has decided to initiate a collective dispute mediation process regarding the subsidy distribution controversy for Bithumb's API-linked activity. In November last year, Bithumb launched a campaign offering to refund all transaction fees and provide a 100,000 KRW API-linked subsidy to users who used API trading for the first time. However, additional terms were later introduced to exclude one-time transactions made solely to claim the campaign benefits, and based on this, some users were denied the subsidy. The Consumer Agency detected the issue through its consumer damage detection system and gathered 77 consumers to apply for collective dispute mediation in January this year. The committee decided to initiate the process on March 5 and plans to release an announcement and formulate a mediation plan by the 23rd. https://www.(wublock123.com)/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=57721
