OpenAI and Oracle have decided not to move forward with plans to expand a large AI data center in Texas, USA. Previously, negotiations between the two parties had stalled for a long time due to financing issues and the evolving needs of OpenAI. Sources say that after the talks ultimately fell through, it opened the door for Meta to step in. Meta is now reportedly considering leasing the data center site in Abilene, Texas, originally planned for expansion, from developer Crusoe. It’s said that NVIDIA played a key role in facilitating the connection between Meta and the developer. (Reuters) https://www.(wublock123.com)/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=57709
