[Xiaomi Mobile AI Agent 'Xiaomi miclaw' Begins Limited Beta Testing] Odaily Planet Daily reports that Xiaomi's AI interaction testing product, Xiaomi miclaw, built on the Xiaomi MiMo large model, has officially started limited closed beta testing today. The testing is invitation-only and not open to public recruitment. Xiaomi miclaw operates as a system application, integrating over 50 system-level tools and ecosystem services. It employs an inference-execution loop engine, allowing the model to autonomously determine the sequence and parameters for tool invocation. This product focuses on validating the execution capabilities of large models within Xiaomi's 'human-vehicle-home full ecosystem' system and features a four-layer capability architecture: system-level foundational capabilities, personal context understanding, ecosystem interconnectivity, and self-evolution. In terms of ecosystem interconnectivity, Xiaomi miclaw has implemented a complete Mi Home protocol client, enabling control of IoT devices connected to Mi Home with user authorization. It also supports the MCP protocol and third-party application integration via SDK. Regarding self-evolution, the product possesses four meta-capabilities: file-level memory, sub-agent creation, MCP service configuration, and sandbox script execution. It can autonomously build memory systems and expand its range of tools. Xiaomi has noted that the product is still being optimized in terms of stability, power consumption, and success rates in complex scenarios. Users are advised to back up their data in advance and conduct testing in controlled environments.
