As at February 28, 2026, 99% of customers served by the Jamaica Public Service (JPS) have had their electricity restored following recent disruptions.
That means 681,000 out of 690,000 households and businesses across Jamaica are now back online. Restoration efforts continue in the remaining areas as our teams work to ensure every customer is reconnected as quickly and safely as possible.
I thank the crews, engineers, and support teams who have worked tirelessly, often through difficult conditions, to restore power to communities across the island.(Andrew Holness)
