According to Decrypt, Canadian police have warned that scammers are impersonating the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to carry out a 'crypto asset recovery scam,' targeting victims who were previously scammed. One resident lost about 5,000 CAD in a crypto 'remote work' scam and later received a call from someone claiming to be a lawyer after filling out a fake RCMP notice form. The caller claimed to have found approximately 60,000 CAD in 'crypto earnings' under the victim's name and offered to help recover it. Police emphasized that the RCMP will not contact individuals to inform them of discovered crypto accounts, will not collaborate with private organizations for paid recovery services, and will never request any fees to investigate fraud cases. https://www.(wublock123.com)/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=57618
