[Morgan Stanley Updates Bitcoin ETF Application, Designates Coinbase and BNY Mellon as Custodians]
According to The Block, Morgan Stanley has submitted an amended S-1 filing for its Bitcoin ETF to the SEC, designating Coinbase Custody and BNY Mellon as custodians. The filing also names BNY Mellon as the fund's administrator, transfer agent, and cash custodian, while Coinbase will serve as the prime broker. The fund will track the spot price of Bitcoin.
Morgan Stanley, the sixth-largest bank in the U.S. by assets, had previously filed for the listing of a Solana Trust Fund. Coinbase is the primary custodian for most spot Bitcoin ETFs in the U.S.
