Bybit Incubates DEX Byreal and Releases First Open-Source Command Line Interface Tool for AI Agents

BlockBeats news, March 4th, Byreal, the first on-chain DEX incubated by Bybit, announced via social media by its founder emilyrealfreeman that the Byreal Command Line Interface (CLI) has been open-sourced. This is its first protocol interface designed specifically for AI agents. Unlike standard API wrappers or chatbot interfaces, Byreal CLI redefines the interaction between protocols and machines at the architectural level, offering deterministic execution, intent-constrained operations, and Agent functionalities focused on understanding users, making the system safer and more reliable by design. Byreal CLI provides AI Agents with three complete primitives: identity, wallet (asset control), and a permissionless execution environment, which only cryptographic technology can simultaneously support. Agents can freely discover, execute, and learn through single commands, including one-time completion of liquidity pool analysis (APR estimation, risk scoring, LP range recommendations). Both the documentation and interface are designed for AI execution. The new feature, Copy Farmer, enables Agents to automatically replicate top-tier liquidity provision strategies. Byreal believes that within approximately two years, DeFi trading volume will flow more through AI Agents rather than front-end interfaces. Projects that optimize protocols for Agents in advance will dominate the routing layer, while protocols that fail to keep up may become forgotten backend systems.
