[Bitcoin Mining Hosting and Cloud Services Company Applied Digital Completes $2.15 Billion Bond Financing]
According to Bloomberg, Bitcoin mining hosting and cloud services company Applied Digital has raised $2.15 billion through a bond issuance to expand computing infrastructure for Oracle Corporation. The five-year bonds were priced with a yield of approximately 7.23%, in line with the average yield for B-rated bonds, with Goldman Sachs leading the issuance. The funds raised will be used to build a 200-megawatt data center in North Dakota, which has already been leased to Oracle. Applied Digital stated last October that the project is expected to generate $5 billion in contract revenue over approximately 15 years.
