People misunderstand Vitalik's L2 tweet. Ethereum is not pivoting from L2s. It is pivoting from a "rollup-centric" approach to scaling for two reasons: 1/ Ethereum L1 is scaling today (~3X per year) 2/ Customizable L2s have found product/market fit with institutions Institutions like Coinbase & Robinhood want the security and liquidity of Ethereum with the customizability they need to serve customers and comply with regulators(Michael McGuiness)
