Reported by Golden Finance, U.S. President Trump met with German Chancellor Merz at the White House on Tuesday. Trump stated that the two leaders would discuss issues related to war and mentioned that the German leader has 'always been helpful.' Trump also noted that trade agreements would be on the agenda. Merz stated that both Germany and the United States hope to eliminate Iran's current regime. Merz said, 'We are in agreement on getting rid of this terrible regime in Iran. We will discuss follow-up matters.' He added that he would also discuss the Russia-Ukraine conflict with Trump. Trump mentioned that Germany allows U.S. troops to land in certain areas, but the U.S. has not requested Germany to provide troops.
