American Bitcoin Purchases 11,298 Mining Machines, Hashrate Expected to Increase by 12%

According to PR Newswire, American Bitcoin Corp. (NASDAQ: ABTC) announced the purchase of 11,298 Bitcoin mining machines, with an estimated additional hashrate of approximately 3.05 EH/s and a single-machine efficiency of about 13.5 J/TH. Delivery and deployment are expected to be completed at the Drumheller mining facility in March 2026. After the expansion, the company’s total number of self-owned mining machines will reach 89,242, with a self-owned hashrate of approximately 28.1 EH/s and an average efficiency of about 16.0 J/TH. The company stated that this expansion aims to continuously accumulate Bitcoin at a cost structure below spot prices by deploying efficient mining machines and optimizing power costs, while maintaining the ability to flexibly adjust capacity based on network and market changes.
