I need to address this: some are saying that if there is no power or internet, Bitcoin becomes useless.
Well, for one, I also believe in not putting all your eggs in one basket. I am not against gold and other assets; I actually like them. But on the issue of power and internet, the real premise is: what actually gives you portability when the SHTF?.. When you need to ESCAPE NOW. I can’t think of any asset as portable as Bitcoin. Yes, you could probably carry a couple of gold bars, but just imagine trying to explain those at customs. A big stash of cash? You'd have the same problem.
Now, some would say that is why it’s important to have gold bars in separate locations or offshore bank accounts. Yeah, that’s good, but not everybody can afford that.
But an average worker earning a decent salary can probably DCA their way to 0.1 Bitcoin. Honestly, that might not seem like a lot, but it is much better than starting from zero in another country. Bitcoin makes it possible for the ordinary person to have a Plan B that was previously only available to high-net-worth individuals.
My question, what is your plan b?(Lark Davis)
