Poverty is a hell of a teacher. Growing up poor teaches you one thing fast. Nobody is coming to save you. So, you squirrel away what you can. Extra food. Few bucks here and there. You build your own safety net because there isn't one. Then you learn inflation is quietly robbing you anyway and the government dgaf. That's why Bitcoin clicked for me. Not hype.
