Buterin also personally tested AI programming capabilities. Using a laptop, he built a system equivalent to his blog software within an hour. The Ethereum founder suggested that half of the speed improvements brought by AI should be used to strengthen security, such as adding more test cases, conducting formal verification, and implementing multiple client implementations. He stated: 'People should remain open to this possibility (not certainty, but possibility): the completion speed of the Ethereum roadmap may far exceed expectations, and the security standards may also be much higher than anticipated.'
