This marks the fourth public resignation of an xAI co-founder in the past three months. Since the company's founding in 2023, 7 of the 12 founding members have confirmed their departure, including former Google scientist Tony Wu, University of Toronto professor Jimmy Ba, and Groq founding member Greg Yang.
