Maple Is Going Where the Users Are
DeFi yield has always had a distribution problem
The infrastructure exists, the returns are real, but the people who could benefit most have no way to access it
They're stuck with whatever their bank decides to offer (usually pretty crappy)
@maplefinance is fixing the distribution layer:
Plasma:
- $433M+ bridged to Plasma
- Maple handles everything: capital allocation, credit underwriting, risk management, legal structuring
- ze fintechs just integrate and offer yield to their users
Aave:
- $750M+ total inflows across three deployments (Plasma, Ethereum, Base)
- syrupUSDC and syrupUSDT now live across all three
- without deep liquidity, yield products can't scale to the billions fintechs need and Aave solves that
Ze actual thesis:
Maple doesn't care to wait for retail to show up, doesn't care about no bear market...it's becoming the invisible backend inside apps people already use
The end user sees a yield number in their neobank dashboard and they don't need to know what overcollateralized onchain lending is
THIS how this reaches real scale, directly and easily shuttling yield to users
$5B+ AUM. THREE ecosystems. TWO assets doing the work. syrUP
dc: Linn is Maple ambassador and holds oodles of SYRUP because I think it'll go up a lot(🉐 Crypto Linn)
