U.S. Federal Judge Andrew Carter has ruled that Binance cannot force plaintiffs to arbitrate losses caused by purchasing unregistered tokens, as Binance failed to adequately inform users about changes to its terms of service regarding arbitration and the waiver of class action rights. The clause was deemed vague and unenforceable. The ruling allows customers to file claims in court for losses incurred before February 20, 2019. Tokens involved include ELF, EOS, FUN, ICX, OMG, QSP, and TRX. Binance stated it will 'actively defend' the remaining allegations.
