**[U.S. Court Orders Lawyers to Respond to SBF's Retrial Motion by March 11]** According to a report by Jinse Finance, Judge Lewis Kaplan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has ordered U.S. government lawyers to respond to SBF's motion for retrial by March 11. SBF was convicted of seven felony charges in 2023 and sentenced to 25 years in prison in March 2024. Earlier this month, he claimed to have new witness testimony that could support his defense, prompting his request for a retrial. Currently, his appeal regarding the conviction and sentencing is still under review by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, with no ruling yet issued. Additionally, despite speculation within the crypto industry that he might seek a presidential pardon, the White House has repeatedly stated that U.S. President Donald Trump has not considered granting him a pardon.
