Today saw a VOLUME ERUPTION in EWY the South Korea ETF which did $6.2b today (5th among ETFs), double its all time record as a 25yrs old (ancient for an ETF). The price has gone parabolic, up 161% 1yr and 65% YTD. Not totally sure why, pretty sure it involves K-Pop tho (Eric Balchunas)
