[Morgan Stanley: Artificial Intelligence Will Reshape Employment Structure Rather Than Cause Mass Unemployment] Deep Tide TechFlow reports, on February 26, Morgan Stanley's latest research report indicates that artificial intelligence will not lead to large-scale permanent unemployment but will instead reshape the employment structure and create entirely new job roles. Referring to the history of technological changes over the past 150 years, the report suggests that technological advancements, from electrification to the internet, have transformed the labor market but have not replaced human labor. It is anticipated that new roles such as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer and AI Governance Specialist, as well as hybrid positions across various industries, will emerge in the future. However, some economists warn that, unlike previous advancements, AI's automation of cognitive tasks may devalue human expertise, potentially decoupling corporate profit growth from employment growth. Currently, 30% of companies adopting AI report measurable financial or productivity gains, a significant increase from 16% a year ago.
