[UK FCA Selects Revolut and 3 Other Companies for Regulatory Sandbox to Test Stablecoin Innovations] According to an official announcement by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the FCA has selected four companies to join its regulatory sandbox to test stablecoin innovation services in a real-world environment with safety measures in place. The four selected companies are Monee Financial Technologies, ReStabilise, Revolut, and VVTX, chosen from 20 applications. The testing will begin in the first quarter of 2026, focusing on application scenarios such as stablecoin issuance, payments, wholesale settlement, and crypto trading. Matthew Long, FCA's Director of Payments and Digital Assets, stated that this initiative aims to ensure the credibility of stablecoins in payments and settlements.
