Seeing some popular local media communities in Japan discussing a local community Meme, here’s a quick intro:
Sanae Token origin: It comes from the community of the 'Japan Is Back' project. 'Japan Is Back' humorously expresses the Japanese community's desire to re-enter the on-chain space, embodying the idea of breaking barriers. NoBorder is a media organization in Japan that covers politics, society, economy, and technology. They often invite politicians, business leaders, and experts for discussions. It’s a highly influential media platform in Japan, with over 600k followers on YouTube.
Against this backdrop, Sanae Token was created. Personally, I think the fun points are:
① Meme-ification, driven by the community, with media discussions amplifying the buzz
② Incubated by NoBorder, a Web3 experiment by the media team
③ Involvement of the Japanese community, purely community-driven, bottom-up incubation
