I wouldn't really say that's a given.
In 2021 we had a drop that was as deep (50+%) and as aggressive, that had a V-shape recovery and new ATH shortly after.
Back then it was a bit easier to expect because we were missing our "5th wave" which is why many of us were vocally bullish and calling for new highs despite that 50% drop (clip from a youtube video I shared at that time: https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkx6hVXY1ugcqJe_QrqVj9A0stGk6s3uJb_?si=CQIR_kRQ74TnUc4Y)
This time the wave count is not as clear so there are multiple possibilities on the board- but without a blow off top there is certainly an argument to be made for a V-shape recovery yet assuming our 5 wave impulse off of 15k is not yet complete.
I covered this possibility (and the others) in my last Youtube video here: https://youtu.be/xVxjLxyAXWQ?si=nrCIgcNqAQavYGzc(CrediBULL Crypto)
