I truly hope that investors do not fall for this kind of trash manipulation, and that people stop spreading and reproducing this content. This kind of information can be manipulated very easily at any time. On Arkham, wallet labels can be assigned arbitrarily. For example, the address that is currently being referred to as the “Garrett Jin” wallet has not been officially labeled as “Garrett Jin.” However, based on unofficial and arbitrary labels, people are speaking as if it is a confirmed fact. Let me say this again clearly: Arkham has NOT officially labeled that wallet as “Garrett Jin.” Now, let’s get to the main point. In the first image, you can see a wallet labeled as “SATOSHI Whale” sending 40.647 BTC at a time to Coinbase. This is then presented as if it is truly a “SATOSHI Whale” deposit. Now look at the second image. Yes, it is true that 40.647 BTC was recently deposited to Coinbase in split amounts. However, this wallet is not officially labeled, it was recently created, and it is likely an internal Coinbase wallet. It’s very simple. If someone arbitrarily labels this wallet as “SATOSHI Whale,” the story is complete. Isn’t it too easy to deceive people this way? Now let’s look at the third image that was retweeted. It claims that instead of 40.647 BTC, suddenly 43,834 BTC was deposited from the “SATOSHI Whale” wallet to Coinbase. Let me be very clear again: manipulation is extremely simple. There is no record of more than 40,000 BTC ever being sent into that wallet. Right now on X, manipulated images are being used to create more manipulation. Ordinary investors retweet them, and many people accept them as facts. Think about this. If a wallet that is more than 10 years old had moved hundreds of thousands of BTC to Coinbase, it would be clearly recorded on the blockchain. But there is no such record. I sincerely hope investors stop falling for this kind of garbage manipulation. And I also hope @arkham takes action against people who do this, or at least makes its labeling policy stricter so that arbitrary labels cannot be used so easily.(mignolet)
