Different countries have different strategies on AI.
The UAE is adopting policies to encourage Ai infrastructure and investment. The European Union is focused on regulating and taxing Ai. The USA is adopting policies to regulate electricity consumption at data centers.
Infrastructure and investment is going to migrate to the locations that are most favorable economically.
The UAE is clearly aiming to be a hub for Ai datacenters.
Look at the UAE. They’ve got a national AI strategy tied to a 50-year national vision, with concrete goals around government efficiency, smart infrastructure, and building out real AI-driven markets. And they didn’t stop at policy. They built an entire university dedicated to AI.
They see what’s coming, so why doesn’t the West? Europe’s piling on regulations and making AI harder to work with instead of easier. And there’s even a growing movement in the US to block new datacenter construction entirely. You’re not dealing with any of that in the UAE.(Wall Street Mav)
