According to CoinDesk, IoTeX has proposed a 'white hat' solution to the attacker involved in the ioTube cross-chain bridge incident on February 21: if approximately $4.4 million in stolen funds are returned within 48 hours, a 10% bounty (around $440,000) will be paid, and CEO Raullen Chai stated that no legal action will be pursued. IoTeX explained that the incident was caused by the leakage of the Ethereum-side validator owner's private key, leading to unauthorized control of the bridge contract. They clarified that this was an operational security issue rather than an L1 or smart contract vulnerability. IoTeX also mentioned that they have tracked the funds across chains and identified Bitcoin addresses linked to approximately 66.6 BTC. Additionally, they are advancing the Mainnet v2.3.4 upgrade, which introduces default blacklisted addresses. Following the incident, IOTX dropped by about 22%. https://www.(wublock123.com)/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=57106
