Here’s a quick recap of the three things I accomplished during the New Year holiday. Time to get back to work tomorrow 1️⃣ Officially unlocked my new role as a rookie dad! Stayed by my wife’s side the whole time—huge respect for all mothers out there. Definitely need to treat my mom better from now on. 2️⃣ Vide Coding: It’s easy to make something trashy, but creating a deliverable product involves a lot of details and processes to learn. So during the holiday, I made something trashy and also worked on a product that’s already being tested on TestFlight. Vibe coding is basically the cycle of being amazed by AI’s power, frustrated by all the tricky details, and finally coming back to rationality. 3️⃣ Upgraded to Legendary Detective in Goose Goose Duck. It’s basically a chaotic voice chat world where logic doesn’t matter much—what matters are your tone, emotions, detailed descriptions, and subtle actions. Also speedran to Gold in Street Fighter, but now stuck there. The pros don’t focus on how to attack—they’re constantly observing the opponent’s moves and waiting for the right moment to counterattack.
