[StarkWare CEO Proposes Five Recommendations to Address Quantum Computing Threats]
In response to the security challenges posed by quantum computing, StarkWare CEO Eli Ben-Sasson has proposed five recommendations:
First, recognize the threat. Acknowledge that the emergence of quantum computers will be a serious issue that must be addressed decisively.
Second, learn and disseminate knowledge. Strengthen the learning and dissemination of relevant knowledge, not only focusing on the advancements in quantum computing but also understanding corresponding defense measures and existing post-quantum cryptography.
Third, take action or support related research. Designate, support, and collaborate with post-quantum cryptography experts.
Fourth, listen to expert advice. Identify signature algorithm standards and security level requirements that can be adopted.
Finally, promote implementation. Implement new signature schemes in core cryptographic protocols (such as Bitcoin) and integrate these schemes into external infrastructures, especially wallet systems.
